Your role

You will be aligned with their Supply Chain and Operations vertical and help them in the system of organizations, people, activities, information, and resources involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. Supply chain systems are a set of processes and tools that ensure the optimal operation of a manufacturing and distribution supply chain. You will be involved in working on the optimal placement of inventory within the supply chain, minimizing operating costs (including manufacturing costs, transportation costs, and distribution costs). In Transportation Management Systems (TMS), you will have to identify gaps in existing transportation management processes (like planning, cross-docking, and routing), establish business requirements, conduct vendor/software selection for TMS to support business and cost requirements and implement and deploy transportation solution for the organization and partners

Responsibilities:

• You are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines
• Your primary interaction is within your own team and your direct supervisor
• You will be given detailed instructions on all tasks
• The decisions that you make impact your own work and are closely supervised
• You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team with a predetermined, narrow scope of work
• Please note that this role may require you to work rotational shifts
