Job Purpose

You will be working with Arm’s internal teams as well as other partners to help develop, enable, optimize, and test software stacks to help Arm strengthen the ecosystem for networking. Being part of a small and hardworking team, this role provides the opportunity to innovate, extend the depth and breadth of knowledge, and make meaningful contributions to our group!

Requirements

• You should have a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering degrees with relevant experience.
• At least 1.5 years of software development and optimization experience.
• Proficiency with C/C++, assembly language and Linux programming.
• Good understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, and multi-core programming
• Experience in distributed version control systems, such as Git.
• Proficient in English. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Desirable Skills & Experience
• Familiar with open source project development cycles and contribution process.
• Experience in software development and optimization on ARM architecture.
• Familiar with one or more scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.
• Experience with L2-L7 networking stacks, understanding of I/O and their impact on software performance.
• Familiar with concepts and standards related to SDN and NFV.
