How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • The purpose of this role is to provide HR expertise and work with the leadership team to define, deliver and implement the people strategy for the respective business division.
  • Partner with HR Leadership to identify the deliverables/objectives of key people initiatives.
  • The role provides an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference and shape the way we deliver HR solutions, supporting business leaders in getting their people priorities right.
  • Act as an anchor for topics including talent development, performance management, talent management, and capability building.
  • You will work closely with the functional centers of excellence, corporate HR and HR shared services team to deliver HR services to the business.
  • Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources-related matters, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions, and job re-leveling.
  • Assess the business unit’s human resources training needs and conduct 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate.
  • Talent identification, development, and deployment
  • Ensure completeness of employee review process and work on establishing a pool of key talent across GDC.
  • Facilitate the roll-out and implementation of career paths and development strategies.
  • Recommend innovative recognition schemes to ensure improvement of staff retention and to recognize performance.
