The Program:

Axilor Fellows program is a one-year structured, outcome-focused initiative. It intends to give talented individuals an opportunity to work with some of the best startup founders in India from the Axilor portfolio quite early in their careers. It would be a cohort-based structured program anchored by Axilor Ventures. Fellows benefit from the structured approach designed to give them exposure to startups and VC – they will be working on defined outcome-based projects with an outstanding founder and a sector lead at Axilor. After completing the one-year fellowship, the fellows may choose their next career move based on the rich experience during this period.

Details:

Start date: The first cohort of fellows will be onboarded by April 2022

Size of the Cohort: 6-7 fellows

Duration: The fellows must commit a minimum of 12 months to complete the program

Work Schedule: the fellows would work 4-5 days with their designated startups and 1-2 days with the Axilor team, depending on the requirements

Benefits:

• Recommendations from startup founders and Axilor leads for future jobs or graduate education, contingent upon successful completion

Fellowship Experience:

• Axilor will host an onboarding week at the beginning of the fellowship to introduce and socialize the cohort
• Bengaluru-based fellows can work at Axilor’s office during their projects with Axilor
• Founders will hand-hold and guide fellows during the initial three months to ensure a smooth transition into the startups
• Fellows will spend 80% of their time with startups and 20% at Axilor

Background

• Undergraduate degree
• 2+ years at a top tier consulting firm, or 2+ years in product management or experience working in cross-functional product teams, or 1+ years in a software engineering, data science, or another engineering role.
