WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role will be a part of the Program Team of the PPK department. The Program Specialist will play an important role in supporting the fundamental activities of the Jr. Associate Program, covering a broad spectrum of activities across content repackaging/ reviewing, recruiting, training amongst others. The Jr. Knowledge Associate Program team is part of Bain’s global Product, Practice, and Knowledge function, dedicated to developing, capturing, and sharing knowledge across the firm. They focus on working on content processing and supporting Practices on operations, other projects.

The Program Team’s goals are to increase the impact of the Jr. Associate program on the business and help KM Associates to succeed and grow in their role. The Program oversees several activities, such as recruitment, training, coaching/ PD, group affiliation, review/promotion processes, best practices, drafting policies/ guidelines, etc.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Support Program Lead/ Manager on driving induction, continuous learning training programs
  • Provide support in the implementation of sessions including scheduling and securing trainers and managing the library of training materials
  • Assist in updating or creating training modules to ensure they keep pace with the changing needs of the role
  • Support in running and analyzing feedback surveys

Recruiting

  • Run a portion of recruiting efforts – campus
  • and lateral, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Building of headcount forecasts to build campus and KA lateral
  • hiring plan
  • Identify new campuses to shortlist potential
  • options for hiring. Own supporting campus research and
  • analysis
  • Screen a portion of resumes, shortlisting and
  • interviewing applicants based on criteria, and making hiring
  • recommendations
  • Actively participate in selective areas of the
    recruiting process to keep it running smoothly and efficiently

Team Operations

  • Own recurring team tasks, databases, trackers, Share point page, team surveys
  • Support and sometimes drive special projects, in and outside PPK as and when the opportunity arises 

Serve as a member of the Program Team and PPK, in line with Bain’s Operating Principles;

  • Collaborate with broader Knowledge Management
  • Program team and other departments to share best practices; solicit input
  • from Associate group and practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Be a visible and positive role model within PPK
  • and Bain; act with maturity in handling and protecting confidential
  • information
  • Exhibit strong customer service and ‘at cause’
  • attitude; deliver zero-defect and timely output
  • Demonstrate
  • flexibility with the changing dynamics of the industry and demands on the

  • and the larger Bain community (e.g. participate in PPK group projects,

ABOUT YOU

  • Undergraduate degree from tier-1 school/university with strong academic credentials,
  • analytical ability and leadership skills; MBA from top tier business school a plus
  • 2 years+ of experience in a professional services firm environment with exposure to one or more of the following functional disciplines: knowledge management, consulting, strategic planning, business research
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, can drive discussions succinctly to a favorable outcome
  • Positive attitude toward navigating tricky situations or adapting to change
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Word
