Who You'll Work With:

This position is for an Associate role in the ‘Founder’s mentality and CEO Forums’ team within the Strategy teams that work with senior stakeholders across the globe. Associates lead 1-2 analysts, working under the guidance of a Project Leader, playing a key role in driving the workstream’s overall answer and final materials and helping their lead/manager with client communication, work planning, and team management.

What You'll Do:

Founder’s mentality team develops research-based frameworks, case studies and CEO insights across emerging strategic issues. The team is the custodian of the FM diagnostic survey and manages Bain’s CEO Forums initiative—a critical pillar of strategy practice’s commercialization strategy. Specific work-streams include:

• Co-partner with Strategy practice on IP development and drive thought leadership on Strategic initiatives for client CEOs; helps client run a self-assessment across multiple aspects of strategy
• Actively planning, executing and participating in Forums with CEOs of leading firms and start-ups across 30+ global markets

About You:

• Graduate with min. 2 years OR an MBA with 0-1 years of relevant experience, with exposure to business research, analysis and consulting
• Experience of leading 1-2 team members is preferable
• Ability to quickly come up to speed on different businesses and perform research and analysis across all geographies and industries with quick turnaround
• Ability to identify and employ relevant research sources and analytical tools and ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect research, analysis and output
• Understands client needs and situations and adapts to case expectations, showing the ability to resolve complex issues across workstreams, generate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks, and recommend actionable solutions
• Strong preference towards high proficiency in business writing with an experience of working with top leadership (equivalent to partners and EVPs)
• Excellent Microsoft power-point and excel skills required; Knowledge of tools/ languages like Alteryx, Tableau is a plus.
