Job Overview
As a Field Operator, you will be providing technical onsite direction and assistance to the customer in the Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Installation of OFE Hardware/Rental Equipments and other Baker Hughes related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Following and executing Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP) under supervision.
- Assisting with Inventory control of related equipment offshore.
- Assisting with Control, Function test, Repair and reporting of necessary maintenance of delivered or rented equipment.
- Assisting with performing Pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance procedures.
- Assisting and performing preparation of work, status or problem reports to customer or project.
- Assisting in the planning of shipping Baker Hughes equipment from offshore or customer site.
- Assisting with stack-up testing and failure investigations and review of NPT occurrences.
Requirements
- Have Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Be able to follow Procedures e.g., Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project Related Procedures (PRP) under Supervision.
- Be able to assist with discussing technical problems and solutions with the Customer.
- Be able to assist with Troubleshooting and Repair work
- Be able to learn to use Baker Hughes Digital processes e.g., GRID, NPT/ SIRCam/ Agility/ EPIMS/ Gensuite etc.
