You’ll be provided with training, covering product and business knowledge as well as essential skills you’ll need for a successful Internship. You’ll spend time with the Compliance team building excellent foundational knowledge while getting to know the business and the people. You will:
Source, interrogate, and analyze data using various skills (e.g. data aggregation, data visualization, root cause & outlier analysis using statistics) to drive new insights supporting BAU & ad-hoc oversight activities.
Identify data governance and quality issues and escalate to stakeholders for resolution.
Bring an understanding of technologies used in banking (and other sectors), role-model intellectual curiosity, and continuous learning related to emerging technology.
Support enterprise-wide regulatory and industry consultations on data topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fairness and Bias in modeling, and Data Privacy.

Demonstrate understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organization sub-function.
Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, paying attention to detail.
Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
Guide and persuade team members and communicate complex/sensitive information.
Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside of the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside the team and external to the organization.
