Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Company and India’s premier Professional Electronics Company require Technicians for its Machilipatnam Unit on a permanent basis.

Training, development & rotations

Technology programs are conducted in collaboration with DIAT/IITs and experts from various Technology organizations at BEL. Management Development Programs are organized at MDI/IIMs for various grade executives. General Managers are nominated for Advanced Management Programs (AMPs) through leading institutes like MDI/IIPA. Skill Upgradation and Development Programs are conducted for Non-Executives in various subjects.

As per the training policy of the Company, the selected candidates shall undergo two-year on-the-job training.

Salary & benefits

  • The selected candidates will be inducted into the pay scales INR 21,500/- 3% - INR .82,000/- 
  • In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances include

About You

  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Age (as of 01.06.2022): Upper age limit 28 years (Relaxation of upper age limit depends on the category they belong to)

Educational Qualification:

  • All Educational qualifications mentioned should be from recognised universities/Institutions/College
  • The candidate must possess all valid mark sheets / Final Certificate / Convocation Certificate. 
  • In case there is no mention of specialization in the Final Certificate / Convocation Certificate as required in the minimum essential educational qualification, candidates are required to submit in original along with photocopies of a certificate from the University/Institution/College at the time of document verification with a clear mention of the specialization in the Final Certificate/Convocation Certificate

Minimum percentage of marks: 

  • General//EWS/OBC – 60% aggregate and for SC/ST/PwBD – 50% aggregate
  • Registration in Andhra Pradesh Employment Exchange is mandatory. The Employment Exchange registration should be valid and active as of 23.09.2022. The Expired/Inactive Employment Exchange registration card will not be considered.

Application fee: 

  • Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of  INR.250 + 18% GST.=Rs.295/- (in total)
    •  SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

  • Based on the marks in the Written test, provisionally shortlisted/ selected candidates will be called for document verification. 

The candidates have to produce the original documents and submit self-attested copies of the following documents: 

  • Recent colour passport size photograph. 
  • SSLC/SSC/ISC marks card and any other valid document as proof of date of birth.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS need to submit their certificates in the prescribed format. 
  • Candidates belonging to the OBC category are required to submit the Community Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority and EWS Certificate issued for the year 2021-22 by the Competent Authority shall be accepted.   • Candidates with relevant disability of not less than 40 per cent only will be eligible for reservation and relaxation as PwBD. A disability certificate should be issued by the Medical Board in the prescribed format. (Prescribed format is made available on the website:www.bel-india.in) 
  • No Objection Certificate from your present employer (if employed in Govt. / Quasi Govt. /PSU) if applicable. 
  • Ex-servicemen candidates applying for the posts have to upload a Discharge book issued by the Indian Armed Forces (Army / Navy / Air force) Concerned Authorities. 
  • Proof of norms adopted by the University/Institute to convert CGPA into percentage if applicable
  • Marks Card of each academic year/semester in ITI/NAC/Apprenticeship course/Diploma in Engineering as applicable. 
  • Final Certificate / Convocation Certificate pertaining to completion of ITI/NAC/Diploma in Engineering issued by the Competent Authority / Board. 
  • Apprenticeship marks card and NAC (for Technician post only) 
  • Valid Employment registration card in Employment Exchange of Andhra Pradesh State.

Method of selection:

The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be provisionally shortlisted for the selection process. The eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test for 150 marks consisting of:

  • Part I: General Aptitude: 50 Marks – comprises of general mental ability and aptitude for logical reasoning, analytical, comprehension ability, basic numeracy, data interpretation skills and general knowledge.
  • Part II: Technical Aptitude: 100 marks – consists of technical/Professional knowledge Tests with 100 questions having specific questions from respective disciplines.

The minimum qualifying marks will be: 

  • Based on category percentage:
    • General / OBC / EWS 35% in both Part I and Part II separately
    • SC / ST / PwBD 30% in both Part I and Part II separately
