Your role

Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Company and India's Premier Professional Electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence require the following personnel on a contract basis: 

Post:

• Trainee Engineer – I (Electronics) 
  • Candidate is required to work in any of the following areas:
    • Assembly, Testing of PCBs, Functional Testing, ATP Testing including Environmental Testing, Testing of Equipment, Installation and Commissioning of Equipment at the Customer Site, and Participation in Field trials and evaluation.
    • Designing of various parts / Assembly of systems & sub-systems, simulation and design validation activity, and Preparation of Project documentation. Further Candidate may have to travel all over India for official work if the need arises, as per Company’s requirement.
• Trainee Engineer – I (Mechanical)
  • The candidate may be posted in one of the following areas:
    • Production activities like PPC, Assembly, Fabrication, Inspection, Functional and Acceptance Testing including Environmental Testing, Repair and Maintenance of Equipment / Machinery, and Sub-Contract Activities.
    • Designing of various parts / Assembly of sub-systems & systems, engineering drawings, simulation, and design validation activity.
• Trainee Engineer – I (Computer Science)
  • The candidate may be posted in one of the following areas
    • Cyber Security in respect of Patch Management.
    • Internal Web Server Management i.e., Database Updation, Server Hardening, New feature Updation, and Backup of the Webserver.
    • Active Directory Server Management.
    • AV Server Management Further Candidate may have to travel all over India for official work if the need arises, as per Company’s requirement.
• Trainee Engineer – I (Electrical)
  • The candidate may be posted in one of the following areas:
    • Operation / Maintenance of Electrical Installations at Receiving Station / Sub-Station / DG Set / HT< Switch Gear Panels, Liaising with Grid Officials.
    • Cabling Work, Control Panels, Understanding of Electrical Drawings.
    • Measurements and Billings, Work Estimation and Execution of Infrastructure Projects, etc. Further Candidate may have to travel all over India for official work if the need arises, as per Company’s requirement

Training & development

Technology programs are conducted in collaboration with DIAT/IITs and experts from various Technology organizations at BEL. Management Development Programs are organized at MDI/IIMs for various grade executives. General Managers are nominated for Advanced Management Programs (AMPs) through leading institutes like MDI/IIPA. Skill Upgradation and Development Programs are conducted for Non-Executives in various subjects.

Trainee Engineer will be engaged initially for a period of Two years which may be extended up to a maximum of ONE year (Maximum tenure of 3 years) based on requirements and individual performance.

Salary & benefits

Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of INR 30,000, INR 35,000/- & INR 40,000/- for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of the contract respectively. ( Source: BEL India)

• In addition to the consolidated remuneration indicated above, the consolidated amount of INR12,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like insurance premiums, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. in two equal installments.
• The first installment will be processed in the first month’s salary after joining and the second installment will be paid after completion 6 months from the date of joining.

About You

You must have the following eligibility criteria to apply for this role :

Qualification:

• BE/ B. Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering (4 years course) from a recognized University / Institution in the relevant disciplines with 55% & above for General / OBC / EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
• Candidates should have obtained 55% & above in the indicated qualification for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
• Candidates having part-time or correspondence courses in indicated qualifications are not eligible.
• Candidates with 0 to 1 year and above relevant post-qualification industrial experience will be eligible to apply for the post of Trainee Engineer.
• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Age (as of 01.02.2023): 28 years (relaxation applies)
• Testing / Troubleshooting and installation, Inspection of Project work On-Board Naval ships at Naval Dock Yard.
