Your role

BEL, Chennai unit is engaging Graduates to undergo Training under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region).

Trade of Training:

• Human Resources, Finance, Materials Management & Marketing

Training, development & rotations

Technology programs are conducted in collaboration with DIAT/IITs and experts from various Technology organizations at BEL. Management Development Programs are organized at MDI/IIMs for various grade executives. General Managers are nominated for Advanced Management Programs (AMPs) through leading institutes like MDI/IIPA. Skill Upgradation and Development Programs are conducted for Non-Executives in various subjects.

• The initial tenure of the training shall be one year. However, an extension of one more year may be considered after reviewing the performance of the candidate.
• The tenure of MIT including its extension shall be maximum of Three years.

Salary & benefits

The monthly stipend payable will be:

• The monthly stipend is INR 10,500/- (Rupees Ten Thousand & Five Hundred only).
• The canteen facility will be provided on a chargeable basis.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the selection process.

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria and general conditions :

Educational Qualification: B.Com

Eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must be from Tamilnadu State only.
• Candidates should possess B.Com from a recognized Board/University on or after 01-06-2020.
• The minimum Percentage in the qualifying examination should be 50% & above.
• Candidates who have undergone or undergoing Optional Trade Training under NATS in any other establishment/organization are not eligible.
• Candidates who have acquired or pursuing higher qualifications are not eligible.

• Candidates should enrol in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Web
• Candidates have to compulsorily bring the following documents in ORIGINAL for verification and submit a copy of each along with the Application Form duly filled:
  • 10th/SSLC Marks Card
  • 12th Marks Card
  • Degree/Post Graduate Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card
• Candidates appearing for walk-in selection have to produce a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or RT-PCR Negative report (Swab collected within 72 hours).

Selection process:

• Portal and furnish the NATS Registration Number in the BEL Application.
• Selection is purely on the basis of merit of the marks secured in the examinations of 12th Standard (25%) & Graduation (75%).
• Statutory Reservation will be as per Government norms.
• Selected candidates will be informed through E-Mail followed by the publishing of a list of selected candidates on the BEL Website.
