Your role

Bharat Electronics Limited is a Navaratna and India’s premier professional electronics, multi-unit, multi-product, public sector company under The Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. BEL, Bengaluru complex is engaging diploma candidates to undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) through the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BoAT), southern region in the following graduation streams:

• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science
• Commercial Practice

Training, development & rotations

Technology programs are conducted in collaboration with DIAT/IITs and experts from various Technology organizations at BEL. Management Development Programs are organized at MDI/IIMs for various grade executives. General Managers are nominated for Advanced Management Programs (AMPs) through leading institutes like MDI/IIPA. Skill Upgradation and Development Programs are conducted for Non-Executives in various subjects.

• The initial tenure of the training shall be one year. However, an extension of one more year may be considered after reviewing the performance of the candidate.
• The tenure of MIT including its extension shall be a maximum of Three years.

Salary & benefits

The monthly stipend payable will be:

• The monthly stipend is INR 12,500/-
• The canteen facility will be provided on a chargeable basis.
• Hostel accommodation (on a shared basis) will be provided on a chargeable basis
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the selection process.

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria and general conditions :

• Candidate’s domicile must be from the southern region (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala & Pondicherry) only.
• Candidates should possess a diploma from a recognized board/university on or after 01-01-2021.
• The candidate’s upper age limit is 25 years. relaxation of 5 years for SC & ST candidates. Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for persons with disabilities.
• The minimum percentage in the diploma for general & OBC candidates should be 50% & above. For SC/ST candidates minimum percentage of technicians should be 40% & above.
• Candidates must produce ORIGINAL Diploma Certificates / Marks Cards issued by the competent authority at the time of verification.
• Candidates who have undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training under NATS or NAPS in any other establishment/organization are not eligible.
