Your role

The duration of the internship program will be 1 year.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams ranging from PON, Ethernet switching and routing software, subscriber management for Triple Play services, performance monitoring to network management to build, automate the test process, integrate, unit test, and support software modules within a large-scale system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in technical discussions within the engineering group in all phases of the SDLC: review requirements, produce design documents, participate in peer reviews, write Test cases, fill quality defects, produce test plans, and support the QA team.   
• Creating the required accompanying technical documentation. 
• Add features to the existing frameworks. 
• Support test strategy and automation in both end-to-end solution and functional testing.

About you

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science/information technology/ Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics. Candidates must have completed their degree either in 2023 or 2024.
• Familiar with Linux, x86 virtualization and Inter-process communication is necessary.
• Familiar with any of the programming languages like Java, C/C++, and scripting languages like Python.
• Familiar with Protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, VLANs, NTP, xSTP, DHCP, and DNS is necessary.
• Familiar with OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Familiar with programming in a multi-thread/multi-process environment is necessary.
• Understanding Unit Testing principles. 
• Must understand basic computer programming concepts, data structures, and object-oriented programming. 
• Familiar with source control applications such as GIT and packet capture tools like Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Strong communication skills and excellent telephone presence. 
• Knowledge of any automation framework like robot framework and pytest is a plus.
