Job Description

Job Purpose:

Cipla has taken an aggressive target to significantly improve its profitability and Agility. The Continuous Improvement team acts as the facilitator and catalyst to drive Cost optimization and business velocity. A key deliverable of this team is to grow EBITDA and improve process efficiencies.

As part of the team, Continuous Improvement Team Member will project manage the assigned process simplification or/and cost improvement initiatives. The incumbent will own a savings target and is expected to manage and drive cross-functional teams for execution. The ability to manage large data from different sources and draw insights is very essential.  

Accountabilities:

  • Business Process Re-engineering or Simplification. Analyze current processes & design business processes to drive velocity, agility, and efficiencies. Design future digital-ready processes.
  • Cost optimization Idea generation and implementation.
  • Partner with functional teams on special projects to identify new opportunities/ideas, work with external consultants, monitor project progress, debottleneck critical issues, manage cross-functional stakeholders and create transparency
  • Governance management and CI functional activities
  • Identify self-development opportunities and execute training plans

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Relevant qualification, and experience of 0-2+ yrs.
  • Strong analytical skills, including extracting, compiling, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to summarize and make crisp presentations that are Senior management ready.
  • Ability to work under pressure, anticipate potential problems and diagnoses, and evaluate and resolve problems as they happen to meet process performance objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment – from where insights need to be picked and then provide structure.
  • Curiosity to quickly explore the best probable solutions – Excellent time management skills.
  • English – fluent verbal, written communication, and report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, and change management skills and business savvy.
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, as well as project management skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work, and proven problem-solving skills.
