Your role

What you'll do?

They are looking for a passionate Community Intern. The ideal candidate should be proactive, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to cultivate and nurture our vibrant community.

Responsibilities

Community Management

• Moderate and manage the community on platforms such as Discord, Telegram, etc. They should have a strong understanding of how to set up bots and other automation on these platforms.
• Handle community queries and feedback efficiently.
• Escalate pressing concerns to the relevant departments or personnel.
• Relationship building with other community admins to leverage for cross-posting and co-organized activities.

Outreach

• Identify and engage with other communities/guilds and potential partners to help run cross-community growth programs

Community Channel Growth

• Ensure all participants of the online or offline campaigns (events, partner IP events, UGC participants, quest participants, etc.) are added to the community channels.
• Help out in executing weekly community campaigns and initiatives.
• Help with organizing events and managing contributors to the Okto Community.

Content

• Assist in creating engaging content for community channels. This will be mostly curated content, news updates, and more.
• Track community engagement metrics and present reports on a weekly/bi-weekly basis
• Gather feedback from the community to help improve products and services.

Feedback & Insights

• Gather user feedback, suggestions, and concerns and effectively communicate them to the relevant teams within the exchange for improvement.
• Analyze community metrics, sentiment, and engagement data to derive actionable insights and recommend strategies for enhancing the community experience.

Event Marketing

• Using events as a way to engage with the community, grow the community, and create for the community would be critical.
• They anticipate major event investments such as Token 2049, and EthCC and the community resource would need to do this part too

What you'll bring

• Familiarity with the web3 ecosystem and community operations
• Experience setting up and moderating web3 platforms like Discord, Telegram, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in web3 before is preferred
• Prior experience in community management is preferred
