Your role

Responsibility:

• As an agile application developer you will work closely with the existing team to learn the current application architecture, and design and understand its functionalities and complexities.
• Develop application code optimally, ensuring both performance and security.
• Constantly analyze and improve the performance and quality of the product and team.
• Optimize development through automation.
• Be willing and able to adapt to changes in priorities and requirements.
• Be interested in the new tech stack and complex problem-solving.
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude and be open to all ideas.

Your future colleagues:

• This role will be a part of any of the various Technology Groups they have within the bank.
• You are responsible for developing, maintaining, and strategically transforming the application portfolio in close collaboration with their business sponsors.
• The varied Technology landscape spans Java, Angular 7, Spring Boot Microservices, Big-Data, and Mainframes-related technologies.
• All of the teams follow Agile and DevOps methodologies to efficiently manage the development and delivery of technology solutions.

About you

To excel in this role, you should possess below:

• Graduation or Post Graduation in Engineering or any other relevant technical field is essential.
• A Fresher or up to 1 year of overall working experience.
• Knowledge of Core Java, Java 8, JEE, REST, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Struts, JPA/Hibernate/Spring Data, and XML.
• Knowledge of Angular2+ or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven understanding of Spring Boot, Cloud, and Microservices.
• Obsession with clean coding practices while building scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
• Strong and accurate analytical and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and initiative personality with a can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
