Job Description

Under direct supervision maintain the integrity of the operating system server environment. Install system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination. Perform workstation and server administration setup. Maintain file systems and disks. Coordinate disk space planning and management. Maintain growth statistics, space forecasts, tape libraries, and software and hardware inventories. Perform data backups and recoveries. Maintain tape libraries. Maintain software and hardware inventories. Monitor and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements.
