Your role

BIOVIA scientific software helps science-based organizations to create new materials and medicines to improve the health and the lives of people and the sustainability of our planet.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a literature survey and gain a good understanding of aspects of the given Materials Science research problem.
• Identify molecular dynamics simulation workflows and use BIOVIA products to generate thermodynamic properties from these simulations.
• Summarize project results and present them to the rest of the team.
• Work closely with a geographically distributed team

About you

• M.Tech/MSc/Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from premier institutions with good academic track record.
• Strong background in Thermodynamics and Molecular Dynamics simulations.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PERL or Python would be an advantage.
• Working Knowledge of Windows and Linux O/S
• Strong Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot applications & environment issues.
• Adaptability, ability to learn faster, independence, responsibility, and diligence.
• Good team spirit and interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, analytical skills, and business thinking.
