Your role

The Apprentice Engineer will support the CFD simulation software development and have a pivotal role in the organization with responsibility for the quality of software. You will interact with the development, physics R& D, and application management teams as a key contributor to product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Review enhancement specifications and provide early feedback on specifications.
• Create a test plan and evaluate CFD product functionality.
• Execute test plans and incorporate them into the regression suite.
• Report bugs and track their corrections.
• Running and analyzing the regression suite on various supported platforms
• Automation and manual GUI testing
• Document all tests and procedures

About you

The requirements for the role are as follows:

Qualification:

• M.E/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on CFD Simulation using Abaqus, Solidworks, power flow, fluent, and cfx  but not limited to it
• Comfortable in a Linux and Windows environment.
• Good English in written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter who works well independently on assigned tasks and products with minimal guidance.
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment and interact with/leverage development, application management, product management, and validation teams.

Additional optional skills or experience:

• Preferably should have done M.E.\M. Tech projects in the area of CFD.
• Good understanding of Python, automation tools, and testing environments.
• Knowledge of other FEA\FEM software Ansys, Nastran, Hyper Mesh, Ansa, etc.
