Your role

They are seeking a resource in Finance domain to work with their Corporate Finance Team. You will be reporting to General Ledger Manager.

What will your job be?

You will be a part of the Corporate Finance Team and will be responsible to contribute towards month-end closure, Account reconciliations, and support in Statutory and Internal audits.

• Assisting the Corporate Finance Teams in the timely and accurate closure of monthly books by accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation of quarterly Balance sheet variance analysis.
• Understanding end-to-end flow from transaction initiation to disclosure in the financial accounts and notes to account.
• Assisting in the submission process of various Group submissions including monthly/quarterly IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) reporting.
• Assisting in the analysis of data, resolving queries for trends/variances and gaps/inconsistencies, and following up to appropriate closure.
• Supporting the fixed asset, Accounts payable, Billing, Treasury, and Taxation departments wherever required.
• Support ad-hoc analysis. 

The challenges ahead

• Process monthly/quarterly journal entries related to expenses provision, revenue accrual, etc.
• Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliations for assigned GL Codes.
• Provide required support wherever required for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Prepare and review the balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial statements.
• Reconcile intercompany balances with partner companies (BS and P&L).
• Ensure internal controls are efficient and operate in respect of group compliance policies.
• Prepare the required statutory financial statements as applicable.
• Support the audit processes within the department, including preparation and review for statutory, internal, and other audit/review purposes.
• Basic understanding related to capitalization or retirement of fixed assets.
• Basic understanding related to Revenue recognition.

• Experience: 0 to 1 year.
• PSFT/SAP Knowledge.
• Basic understanding of IFRS/IND AS.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical skills and good team player.
• Keen learner with a positive attitude.
• Structured, disciplined, and flexible approach toward work.

Education qualification:

• Education: MBA-Finance.
• Immediate Joiners will be preferred.
