Your role

Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER) is engaged in the development of technologies and products in the areas of Bio-energy and Biofuel for addressing defense needs. It is offering Junior Research Fellowship in the following areas:

• Postcode 1: Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication  Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/ IT Engineering/ Chemical Engineering.
• Postcode 2 :Agriculture(Horticulture/ Vegetable Science)
• Postcode 3: Microbiology

Salary & benefits

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be paid Rs. 37000/-per month HRA as a stipend. The award of JRF will be as per DRDO & National Agency’s Research Fellowship rules.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining.

Career Progression

JRF will be allowed to register for Ph.D. with any recognized University/ Institution during the tenure of the fellowship. However, the offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO.

About you

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/ IT Engineering/ Chemical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) in first division with NET/GATE or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering /Computer Science & Engineering/ IT Engineering/ Chemical Engineering(M.E./M.Tech.) in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level
• Postgraduate degree     (M.Sc)     in Agriculture(Horticulture/Vegetable Science)in first division with NET/GATE.
• Postgraduate degree (M.Sc) in Microbiology in first division with NET/GATE.

Desirable

• Preference will be given to those who have exposure to the subject-related field.

Other criteria

• Age not exceeding 28 years for JRF as of the date of interview. Age relaxation is allowed for up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
• Candidates possessing a degree/ provisional degree certificate are only eligible to apply.
