Defence Research & Development Establishment is an Indian defense laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Located in Gwalior, it is primarily involved in the research and development of detection and protection against toxic chemical and biological agents.

Your role

Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior a premier institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defense-related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-interview to be held at DRDE. 

Training, development & rotations

JRF Tenure: Maximum Five Years. The candidate will work initially for the first two years as JRF and will subsequently be upgraded as SRF for the remaining three years subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO instructions for the grant of research fellowship. 

Salary & benefits

• Monthly stipend INR. 37000/- plus HRA admissible as per prevailing rules,
• No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interviews

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria and general conditions :

Essential Qualification

• First class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical /DRDO Junior Analytical / Organic / Inorganic) or related fields 01 01 Research Fellow 03* and have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) | 28 Yrs 22.11.2023 (JRF) "| qualification conducted by CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS, MHRD (GATE) 

Other criteria:

• Maximum of 28 years on the date of the interview relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC Candidates. 
• Reporting time is 0930 hrs on the date of the Interview, at Main Gate Reception, DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior-474 002.
  Latecomers will not be allowed.
