About DYSL

Defence Young Scientists Laboratory a Division of DRDO, are five specialized research laboratories located in five different cities of India, inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India on 2 January 2020. Each laboratory deals with a focused area of science - artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cognitive technologies, asymmetric technologies, and smart materials.

The following vacancies of Junior Research Fellowship are available initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules)

Salary & benefits

Stipend of Rs.37,000/- per month plus HRA as applicable (at present 27%). Hence, the total emoluments will be Rs. 46,990/-. Based on the availability, accommodation can be provided, in which case, HRA will be deducted.

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria and general conditions :

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate ~~ degree division with NET/GATE or and Post Graduate level or professional course (B.E/B.TECH) in first Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.E/M.TECH) in first division both at Graduate Post graduate degree in Basic Science in first division with NET.
• Strong fundamentals in problem-solving, algorithm design, and 02 complexity analysis
• Expert in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, C++, or similar) Cc.
• Knowledge of classical Al algorithms, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning techniques is strongly desirable.
• Proven experience with software libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, TensorRT, and PyTorchMobile.
