It primarily invests in Indian equities, fixed income securities, and derivatives to generate returns for its clients across various asset classes, including equity, fixed income, and currency markets.
Your role
They are looking for a resourceful candidate to join the DESRI group based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be part of DESRI’s Accounting function and will regularly interact with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
You’ll be required to maintain the books and records in accordance with U.S. GAAP for the company’s renewable energy projects, investment funds, and corporate entities (collectively, “Entities”) while ensuring adherence to close timelines and control procedures.
You’ll be working on preparing Management reports including EBITDA reports, quarterly project forecasted trial balances, and conducting budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual analysis.
You’ll also be expected to prepare, review, and file U.S. GAAP-based financial statements for the Entities.
Further, you’ll be required to liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of external audits, as well as interact with U.S. and Hyderabad-based asset managers, treasury and tax team associates, and external consultants.
You’ll review financial information to be included in various regulatory reports (FORM PF, FORM ADV, CBCR etc.), engage in various forms of management and investor reporting, coordinate tax reporting and furnish investor account statements.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing, and documenting accounting processes, workflows, and controls.

About you
The candidate should be pursuing a Chartered Accountancy course, cleared CA Inter/IPCC on the first or second attempt, and should have completed two years of articleship (Big 4 or top-tier articleship experience preferred).
The ideal candidate should be able to take initiative with limited direction and guidance.
The candidate should have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
The duration of this role is nine to twelve months.
