Job Description

We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our DESRI group based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be part of DESRI’s Acquisitions and Finance team and will regularly interact with U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams.

What you’ll do day-to-day

• You’ll be required to undertake research assignments related to U.S. renewable markets with a focus on financing markets, equipment pricing, competitor analysis, new markets, interconnection positions, new technology, and several other focus areas related to the renewables sector.
• You’ll be expected to identify and synthesize key information from publicly available resources such as state and federal utility proceedings, paid subscriptions, and internal research databases.
• You’ll also work on management reports outlining some of the key indicators.

Who we’re looking for

• Candidates holding an MBA (finance) or comparable qualification with zero to two years of experience.
• The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of the research process and familiarity with different sources of databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
• Candidates who have a robust understanding of various valuation techniques and also have a fair knowledge of building financial models.
• The candidate should have excellent written communication skills and report-writing capabilities.
