Overview

We are looking for a software test engineer to join our Quality & Test Engineering team based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad, India. The team is responsible for ensuring the quality of our trading system infrastructure.

What you’ll do day-to-day

The candidate would be responsible for delivering quality features and products by following rigorous testing techniques, understanding various system components, and assessing the impact of any changes. He/she is expected to be exhibiting ownership of and consistently increasing expertise in the specific area of work, building and maintaining automation tools and systems, and improving efficiency by identifying and automating test cases.

Who we’re looking for

• A relevant educational background, preferably with a degree in computer science, engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Robust analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills with excellent functional testing skills.
• Hands-on exposure to unit-testing frameworks and test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to scripting in Python, shell scripts.
• Working experience with a high-level programming language, such as Java or C++.
