We are seeking an exceptionally capable interaction designer to join our DX (Design & User Experience) team. This team works on our core web platform, which serves as an underlying infrastructure for web application development across the firm.

What You'll Do Day-To-Day:

Responsibilities include:

• Taking complex users scenarios and converting them into simple, fluid and delightful experiences; and drive innovation through visual, interaction and information design
• Working and co-creating with talented and diverse, multi-disciplinary teams and individuals across the organization
• Partnering with BU Heads, Product Managers, Team Leads, and Developers to shape end-to-end experiences from conceptualization to production
• Conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping new features and components of the firm’s web & mobile platform (Design System)
• Thinking visually while successfully and effectively communicating design ideas
• Strategically designing UIs using evidence-based best practices
• Creating paper prototypes and appropriate high-fidelity image mockups to be converted into interactive prototypes using prototyping tools and/or HTML/CSS/JavaScript depending on the project requirements
• Developing and presenting designs to internal stakeholders and other team members
• Serving as the go-to person for the platform’s design system recommendations, while working closely with development teams, business analysts, and project owners throughout all phases of product development
• Maintaining and systematically improving design standards to align with the industry’s best practices
• Creating and supporting a diverse and inclusive culture where all voices are heard and where we are enabled to do our best work.

Who We're Looking For:

• B.Des or M.Des 2022 Passouts with no Active backlog and a stellar portfolio showcasing interest in interaction design or Information Design or Universal Design or Product design
• Portray design thinking and have a passion for user-driven design solutions
• Strong and creative conceptualizing skills
• Ability to use the design process to solve problems
• Heuristics based design reviews
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions on the fly
• Ability to effectively communicate design ideas
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Axure or any other prototyping tools
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, visual thinking
• Eagerness to try new things
• Exposure to HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript framework
