Your role

What you'll do

In Maritime, business support is a critical function, it covers invoicing, account receivables, direct support to the operations, correspondence with customers, preparing agreements/contracts, project control, administrative work like vendor/supplier registration, registering accounts payable invoices, etc.

As an intern, you will be part of an experienced and diverse team conducting Maritime operations such as Classification Surveys, Maritime Offshore activities, Certification of Materials and components, Ship New building projects and their analysis for clients in the Indian sub-continent and within the region, covering all elements of analysis and capability improvement projects leveraging on Digitalisation, Automation, and Big Data Analytics.

There will be significant learning opportunities for the selected candidates as the role will involve project analysis of various projects, working on account receivables, and liaising with Maritime clients located globally.

They need candidates with finance knowledge, analytical skills, and knowledge of Account receivable follow-up and administration work like vendor /supplier creation, supplier invoice review, etc.

About you

What you'll need

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Candidates should be self-motivated.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary.
  • Having 1 year of experience in finance or administration will be an added advantage.
