Your role

As a Surveyor you will be a member of a highly qualified team of surveyors and auditors serving various major customers in the Maritime industry, including shipyard material/equipment manufacturers and ships in operation.

DNV is looking for talented young graduates to join them. The candidate will be offered a permanent position with DNV India.

The program will offer a broad range of learning opportunities, including mentoring from top experts in their fields. In addition to participating in their formal training programs, you will immediately begin boosting your competence. You will work with experts on exciting projects that aim to solve customer and industry challenges while contributing to making the world safer, smarter, and greener.

Candidates will be posted at different locations in India (Mumbai/Chennai/ Cochin/Mangalore and Kolkata) as per business needs upon completion of the training.

About you

What you'll need

  • Graduate/Post-graduate qualification, e.g. MEng, MSc, or equivalent preferably in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with strong academic results.
  • General knowledge of Maritime.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the yard for design/construction and shipping companies in technical/engineering will be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills with cross-language capability, overcoming cultural barriers to enhance team performance.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel within India and abroad.
  • Interest in working in an international environment.
