What You’ll Do
- As a Research Analyst II, you will be responsible for primary research (quantitative survey) and doing some secondary research projects. Exposure to help uncover market/survey information and translate it into actionable insights that can influence key decisions on the brand.
- Work on an end-to-end quantitative survey from questionnaire/ discussion guide preparation, survey link set up, analysis & reporting, along with complete project management (vendor management, sample monitoring, etc.)
- Conduct survey on various topics - Message/concept/value prop testing, Usage, and attitude, Segmentation, Brand tracker, Customer decision journey, etc.
- Apply research methodologies like Monadic/Sequential Monadic, MaxDiff, NPS, Statistical significance testing, etc.
- Use survey designing/programming tools like Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, and cross tab creation tools like SPSS, Wincross, Display R, etc.
- Provide ongoing intel to power the agency team with information that can impress clients and drive stronger relationships
- Build an in-depth understanding knowledge bank on assigned categories
- As part of secondary research
- Should pick up usage of secondary data tools – MRI, GWI, Kantar Retail – to supplement the data forward narrative
- Use free & paid subscriptions available– Gartner, Forrester, Mintel, Comperemedia, Contagious, Statista, eMarketer, and many more
- Proactively suggest new research resources and vendors strengthen research offering and impact
- Collaborate with Senior/Lead research analysts and other teams on key projects providing customized solutions
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders in the US
- Help the team strategize across key clients
- Help with prospective client RFPs to address requests about research
Qualifications
- MBA + a good academic record
- 1- 3.6 years of experience in Primary research (Quantitative research) and Secondary research
- Keen interest in marketing/communication problem-solving, with good attention to detail & nuance
- Self-starter. Resourceful and rigorous in digging out information from all available resources and beyond
- Good storytelling, report writing skills, and presentation skills
- Good articulation, command over language, ability to connect dots and deliver actionable insights
- Global exposure would be a definite plus as the agency operates in many different markets; prior experience of working with the US market would be a plus
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal & good presentation skills
- High energy, team player, positive attitude
- Demonstrate effective time management and organization skills

- Exposure to Qualitative research, would be a plus
