Overview

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Track, investigate, write and publish research reports across areas (markets/technologies) allocated as per the production plan
  • Continuously monitor market developments across allocated areas and the space industry in general (thorough secondary research covering news updates, scientific journals and press releases)
  • Engage with industry stakeholders in conversations validating observations and assumptions (detailed primary research validating insights, data and market/technology trends)
  • Deliver the research reports as allocated on time while ensuring the deliverables comply with the predetermined template standards
  • Support the research service handle client queries/questions regarding the research reports (titles) as allocated so the clients have their additional questions answered both before and after purchasing the research report/service
  • Design and build relevant market data models to support the analysis covered in the research reports (as per predetermined standards defined in the deliverable templates)
  • Deliver against custom requirements as prescribed by the client

Key Skills

  • Thorough understanding of space industry, specifically spacecraft and space mission design procedures
  • Ability to continuously monitor space market developments and evolve actionable insights around the developments that can help clients make financial decisions
  • Ability to evolve data models covering space markets
  • Ability to reach out to industry stakeholders (CEO’s/VP’s/Directors etc.) and schedule interviews to validate observations and assumptions
  • Ability to interpret the financial and technical aspects of space markets and participants to present a comprehensive insight for the clients
  • Ability to write research reports for diverse target audiences
  • Ability to pick up new topics/subjects and learn them with minimal support
  • Ability to collaborate with the team through supporting and learning while working together to enable the Space Practice to deliver against predefined targets and evolving client requirements

Summary

  • This role is that of a senior analyst within the Space Practice under the Aerospace & Defense research division who is expected to be the go-to person for the specific market/technology areas as allocated
