Your role

About the internship:

FTI is proliferating across Asia and seeking an intern who is passionate about Strategi Communication and seeking to broaden their horizons and learn new skills.

  • This in-person internship program will be for 6 months minimally, starting from May for (5 days work week). 

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Compile, track, summarise and report on media coverage.
  • Assist in drafting communications materials (e.g. writing press releases and briefing documents).
  • Conduct background research on companies and topics.
  • Assist with maintaining contact lists, editorial forward feature lists, and event calendars.
  • Assist with corporate communications and media relations engagements (e.g. liaising with journalists, distributing press releases, and providing support for press conferences).
  • Assist with new business initiatives (e.g. researching prospects, creating and editing PowerPoint presentations and proposals, etc.).
  • Another ad hoc administrative task is as necessary.

Training & development

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and have exposure to a full range of strategic communications services including performing industry research and analysis, executing corporate communications, media relations and investor relations activities and writing client materials.

About you

Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • University student or recent graduate with a valid student ID.
  • Fluency in English is required, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent research, writing and organization skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work efficiently in both large team environments and independently.
  • Analytical approach to creating work products.
  • Social, enthusiastic and eager to learn and can work well within a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
