This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product operations team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI) . GPI’s mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. We are looking for a Product operations Associate, to support and scale our vendor onboarding operations. You also could work on several business initiatives and be empowered to lead problem solving leading to continuous improvement. If you have strong business acumen and enjoy working in a fast-paced lean startup team at an established brand, this is the role for you. A successful Product Operations Associate will gain a deep understanding of business operations, technology research and product management.
What you’ll do:
- Successfully manage content for Gartner Peer Insights, a ratings and reviews platform for IT software
- Rigorously track validation and moderation steps and regularly report status, velocity, and issues; build status reports
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to the improvement or optimization of existing processes
- Apply lean product principles in your day-to-day problem solving and lead knowledge sharing sessions
- Engage with different GPI teams/stakeholders through targeted, crisp and timely communication
- Work towards streamlining processes and building best practices around reducing TAT and maintaining/enhancing quality
What you’ll need:
- Masters with 0-1yrs OR tech graduation with 1-2 years of technology research experience, preferably with exposure in Digital Products space, followed by experience in Tech/IT industry, Research or Consulting
- Microsoft Office expertise – Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
- Understanding of complex technology products & able to comfortably learn about new ones
- Proficient with conducting secondary research
- Ability to coach/mentor team members
- Excellent attention to detail, including ability to identify, dig into, and remedy errors
- Passion for continuous, metrics-based process and operational improvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them in a proactive manner
- A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get things done
- Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone
- Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering high quality deliverables
