This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product operations team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI). GPI’s mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. We are looking for a Team Lead, Product operations, to scale our Validation and Moderation operations. You will work directly with senior stakeholders and be the natural extension of operations horsepower. You will have the opportunity to work on several business initiatives and be empowered to lead problem-solving leading to continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
- Develop operational dashboards and tools that enable/improve day-to-day management and decision making leverage Excel, PowerBI, and/or Python
- Produce monthly operational reporting and presentations used with cross-functional partners in R&A and Ombuds
- Identifying new opportunities for improvement in validation quality and efficiency using a mix of quantitative analysis, qualitative inputs, and benchmarking. Leads accompanying team problem-solving to determine how to operationalize.
- Serve as V&M lead/key point of contact with GPI product and Engineering on technology efforts to enhance V&M processes and tools
- Build and own the existing validation rule book and rules-based model
- Supporting multiple strategic initiatives and partially involved in problem-solving
- Analyze product metrics and trends to access product health and improvement opportunities
- Assess workload across the team and help the team manager to manage heavy projects, prioritization, and workload sharing. Own projects, understand & scope project requirements and map out a delivery plan
- Lead problem solving for review validation to improve processes through analytic approaches, see “so what” and, develop thorough, straightforward recommendations and present to internal stakeholders/senior management
What You’ll Need
- Master’s/MBA degree and graduation in engineering and exposure in Digital Products space. Coursework in business analytics, advanced analytics, and business reporting would be preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in Tech/IT industry, Research or Consulting
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, MS Excel, knowledge of PowerBI and Python would be a plus
- Exposure and understanding of lean six sigma and process optimization techniques
- Program management experience & capability to give independent opinions based on facts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them in a proactive manner
- A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get things done
- Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside the comfort zone
