Your role     

Interns in the Fleet Engineering team of  GE Vernova will:  

• Support the RCA leaders in working through the complex problem-solving environment.
• The team will be involved in performing Root Cause Analysis of various wind turbine components and investigating multiple failure types.
• Interns will support various activities such as data processing, understating fleet data, co-relating fail theories, establishing failure hypotheses, and producing reports

About you     

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Electrical engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution. (Including final-year students), experience level- 0-1years
• Master’s degree in mechanical/Electrical engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution. (Including final-year students), experience level- 0-1years

Desired Characteristics

• Clear communicator understands how a wind turbine works.
• Strong Mechanical/Electrical fundamentals
• FEA basics, Simulation software knowledge
• Excel, Python, SQL, MATLAB, or Minitab proficiency, Data processing
• Self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
