Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager – AWS (Amazon Web Services) Developers 

This role lies with Genpact Corporate IT (Information Technologies) -Compute Management Division. You will be responsible for supporting corporate Compute operations 24X7 for internal IT. You will be working actively on the operational issues along with internal/external partners to recover the system's failure (proactive/reactive). You will have tremendous opportunities to learn in one of the biggest Compute groups in the industry. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design, build and operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more AWS data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties - Spark, EMR, DynamoDB, RedShift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, Snowflake. 

  • Analyses, re-architect, and re-platforms on-premises data warehouses to data platforms on AWS cloud using AWS or 3rd party services. 

  • Craft and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala. 

  • Design and implement data engineering, ingestion, and curation functions on AWS cloud using AWS native or custom programming. 

  • Perform detailed assessments of current state data platforms and build an appropriate transition path to AWS cloud  

  • Documentation & finding out the nature of problem & be a problem solver at heart. 

  • Brings creativity to their work and crafts resilient, scalable, and maintainable software. 

  • You should have good interpersonal skills. Candidates can work with engineers, designers, product managers, and engineering managers to prioritize work and find opportunities that will benefit multiple teams.  

Minimum qualifications 

  • Graduate in Technology (any stream) 

Preferred qualifications 

  • Understanding and validated expertise in AWS 

  • Supervise record of designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable applications and services. Ability to produce high-quality code that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration 

  • Ability to build reusable code and libraries for future use  

  • Worked in Agile teams in multi-functional teams. 

  • Exposure to Agile software delivery; acceptance test driven development.
