We are inviting applications for the role of Domain Trainee, Exports Analyst
The role would be responsible to ensure finished goods stock is deployed to destination warehouses / Affiliate warehouse / Affiliate Customers/ Export Customers. Stock must be dispatched once available to meet the needs of Affiliate / Customer orders, S&OP shipment plan/Case Fill Rate% as required. Prioritize receipt of finished goods stock from Factories, Affiliate and Co-packers, ensuring that delivery is scheduled to support Case Fill Rate% requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, and validate orders, arrange shipping with appropriate documentation for EU Affiliates and non-EU Customers with correct delivery/ dispatch dates
- Ensure inbound finished Goods deliveries arrive within expected transit times and without incurring costs to business
- Ensure adherence to legislation and regulations required for Export orders. Ensure documentation is applied for and issued in a timely manner.
- Ensure all orders are shipped with maximum load fill.
- Maintain order tracker for non-EU Affiliates orders.
- Ensure products have acceptable BBE requirements for Non-EU Affiliate and UK&I Export customer’s orders.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze key reports, maintaining accurate records of logistics costs to support the month-end reporting process
- Escalate to supplying sites where products do not meet specifications for the NDC
- Communication: Act as the main point of communication between our haulage partners and business
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate issues in a succinct and logical manner. Strong listening skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and work with a team when help is needed.
- Ability to generate innovative solutions to problems and effectively work with and communicate with key stakeholders.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in logistics or Transportation related positions
Preferred Qualifications
- End-user knowledge in SAP MM & SD, SRM preferred
- Must be familiar with Incoterms and other standards with the Export/Import Industry
- An import-export specialist must have a strong understanding of business, trading practices and laws, mathematics and great communication skills as they work with clients from many different countries and cultures on a daily basis.
- Excellent analytical and execution skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of customer service and analytic skills
- Self-starter, able to accomplish tasks independently, can-do attitude.
- Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Advanced excel knowledge preferred
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
