Your role

In this role, you will be working for the Australian Client (with their core business of Insurance & Banking) and meeting the statutory and regulatory requirements as per the Australian Geography requirements, you will work with customers/clients in day to day operations and work on the preparation of financials statements and notes to accounts as per International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Work as SME for the 1st level of review work done by the Recs and Close team. Your role will function as an overlay of existing domain experts and bring value through new thoughts/ways of doing work which can lead to operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities

  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting- Statutory and Regulatory 
  • Preparation of financial statements as per statutory guidelines and accounting standards like IFRS, US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, etc.
  • Preparation of files as per Regulatory guidelines (APRA submissions, FSL, etc.)
  • Review of Journals & Reconciliations performed by the Ledger close team
  • Working on tools like Oracle, TM1, and CDM.
  • Regular communication with onshore counterpart via e-mail, instant messenger, and telephonic calls
  • All deliverables to be met at 100% SLA (both quality and timeliness)- SLA Governance
  • Ensure 100% compliance and deadlines [List of responsibilities]

About you

Minimum qualifications/skills

  • CA/CMA fresher
  • MBA/Mcom with relevant experience

  • Strong communication – Both Written and Vocal
  • Strong analytical & Accounting skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, and be flexible as needs change
  • Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement and an open mind to change
  • High standard of integrity, and strong self-confidence to state and support opinions
  • High energy, strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Effective working knowledge of IT incl. Use of, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
