Management Trainee – Application Support (Start ASAP)

Your role

The company seeks a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join their team as an Application Support Analyst. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing support to enterprise applications, ensuring seamless operation, and resolving any issues that may arise. This position offers an opportunity for fresh talent to contribute to the organization's IT operations and gain valuable experience in application support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for users of their enterprise applications via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application software and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with senior support analysts and developers to escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and availability of applications.
• Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and understanding of their applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities.

About you

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles or IT Service Management concepts is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and skills.
• Prior internship or coursework experience in application support is advantageous but not required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell would be beneficial.
