A motivated and detail-oriented intern is sought to join the expanding Finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of accounting and auditing functions. Responsibilities include involvement in statutory audits, internal financial controls, internal audits, transfer pricing audits, and intercompany reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior staff with statutory audits, including coordination with the Stakeholders, data collection, liaison with Statutory Auditors, and preparation of schedules for Financial Statements.
Assist senior staff with Internal Controls over financial reporting study, including coordination with the Stakeholders, data collection, and liaising with the Auditors.
Assist Senior Staff with the Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer pricing audit, and GST Audit in gathering the relevant information and preparation of documents.
Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
About you
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a master's/bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong at Accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
A working knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards is a plus.
