Your role

A motivated and detail-oriented intern is sought to join the expanding Finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of accounting and auditing functions. Responsibilities include involvement in statutory audits, internal financial controls, internal audits, transfer pricing audits, and intercompany reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior staff with statutory audits, including coordination with the Stakeholders, data collection, liaison with Statutory Auditors, and preparation of schedules for Financial Statements.
• Assist senior staff with Internal Controls over financial reporting study, including coordination with the Stakeholders, data collection, and liaising with the Auditors.
• Assist Senior Staff with the Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer pricing audit, and GST Audit in gathering the relevant information and preparation of documents.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.

About you

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a master's/bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong at Accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A working knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards is a plus.
