Your role

As a Supply Chain Reporting and Data Governance intern, the candidate is expected to assist Reporting Leads & Data Steward Leads in maintaining, and monitoring Supply Chain reports, Supplier & Material Master data. Expected to support transformation project activities related to Supply Chain Data.

Your Job:

Intern - Data Governance:

  • The candidate will be involved in Supplier and Material Data governance activities under the supply chain domain.
  • Work with data stewards on process design and documentation activities.
  • Work with data stewards on developing global standards and business rules.
  • Performs hands-on stewardship tasks to assess, cleanse, normalize, and conform data to meet business requirements.
  • Performs analysis of data to identify gaps in quality using defined standards.
  • Solid grasp of data management and governance practices.

Intern - Reporting:

  • The candidate will be involved in Reporting & Data Analytics activities under the supply chain domain.
  • Support problem-solving and continuous improvement activities by performing data mining.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify the areas of automation & analytics and develop corresponding algorithms to improve efficiency. 
  • Communicate effectively across various teams and participate in problem-solving and lean manufacturing methodologies.

About you

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer science, or a related discipline.
  • A basic understanding of Semiconductor processing technology & devices will be desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office tools is a requirement.
  • Reporting & analytical skills/knowledge through PowerBI is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Business intelligence(BI) tools is desired.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with global teams is a requirement.
  • Candidate should be organized, proactive, committed, and have excellent analytical skills.
