They say no man is an island, and this holds here at Gojek. As our Data Scientist, you’ll be part of the data team that directly impacts Gojek’s GoFood. Your main objective will be to create business impact at scale. The Business and Product Team will be your companions during this ride. What differentiates Gojek from other companies is the pace at which you can see your analysis and insights come to life and impact millions of customers and thousands of merchants' partners

What You Will Do:

• Work with Data Scientists, Product Engineers, and Product Managers to build, deploy, and scale Data Science solutions for recommendation systems and Geospatial data.
• Develop theoretical models to better understand our customers’ use-cases and needs.Work with Product teams to continuously refine, and improve the solutions to cater to ever-changing Gojek needs
• Deep-dive analysis to support business decisions

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in either Statistics, Econometrics Mathematics, or Computer Science 
• Exposure to Machine Learning (forecasting, clustering, statistical significance test, predictive modeling, and text mining)
• Comfortable in a programming language (either R, or Python) and comfortable using SQL
• Ability to use critical thinking daily to manage daily tasks while being goal-oriented
