Our Impact

The Offer Management and Onboarding member is a position in the Human Capital Management (HCM) division in the People Experience Delivery for Acquire & Integrate Talent. The team is responsible for managing pre-offer risk and compliance, driving standardized processes and tools to execute job offers to candidates, managing onboarding requirements for new hires to the firm, and to ensure to provide world-class candidate experience. The team is structured around delivering and delineating these services for each of our talent segments, including Campus, hires (Undergraduate) / Early Careers (Analysts) / Mid-Careers (Associates / Vice Presidents), and Executives. Ultimately, every team member is responsible for helping to drive a frictionless candidate and employee experience for recruiting for their assigned talent segment

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

  • Work directly with key stakeholders to liaison and complete activities for your assigned talent segment, including:
  • Collate and validate information to complete a variety of pre-offer verification steps for candidates to ensure risk and compliance adherence
  • Create and manage both simple, rules-based offers for some talent segments as well as complex offers for other more senior talent segments
  • Liaise with the Background Check Team to ensure the checks of the candidates are in place post-offer release and acceptances
  • Work closely the with hiring managers, candidates and relevant technology teams for all relevant pre onboarding activities and communications
  • Be the GS brand ambassador for any stakeholder who is experiencing the services of the offer and onboarding team
  • Leverage processes, tools, and workflows to coordinate and complete key activities across the hiring and onboarding lifecycle in a timely manner
  • Develop and leverage relationships with recruiters, compensation specialists and other internal stakeholders to drive efficient completion of process tasks
  • Deliver a set of curated candidate experiences for your assigned talent segment, from the point of candidate selection through onboarding to the firm
