About the division

Global Banking & Markets (Public) / FICC and Equities (Sales and Trading) enable clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. They make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed-income, equity, currency and commodity products.

They make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through their global sales force, they maintain relationships with clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

Their Investment Banking teams deliver high-quality strategic advice and creative financing solutions to clients, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, and risk management transactions.

They pride themselves on their resourcefulness and work on a variety of initiatives. On any given day, the work could include advising a company on a cross-border merger, structuring the initial public offering of a subsidiary, refinancing an outstanding bond and more.
