Your role

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a creative content strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement on social media including scripting, filming, and basic editing
  • Serve as the on-camera personality for the brand, representing our values and vision with authenticity and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and script engaging video content that aligns with brand messaging and objectives.
  • Produce high-quality video content, including filming, editing, and post-production, ensuring content is optimized for each platform.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in content creation and social media to continuously innovate and improve the content strategy.
  • Engage with the audience on social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and analyze post-performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions to optimize strategy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and business, to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in social media, video production, and influencer marketing to identify new opportunities for brand growth and collaboration.
  • Represent the brand at events, and other promotional opportunities as needed.
  • Evolve a content strategy and guidelines and adapt them to new situations (e.g., bite-sized videos, vernacular content, etc.)

About you

What are they looking for?

Technical skill requirements

  • Strong on-camera presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging concepts and scripts.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, and their respective best practices.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences through content.
  • A bachelor's degree in film, media production, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Adept with tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop (not a must-have, but good to have)

Attitude / behavioral requirements

  • Self-starter attitude (not waiting for the next task from the manager)
  • Bias for action (rade knowing when to toff perfection for timing; getting things done)
  • Comfort with ambiguity (things will be clear at times and unclear at times; if you’re not ok with fog, don’t be a pilot)
  • Out-of-the-box thinking, clarity in thought (great to have wacky ideas, but you should be clear of your wacky ideas)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Please Note:

  • Duration: This is a 6-month internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs
  • Working Mode: Hybrid (3 days from office, 2 days from home)
