Your role

As a Graphic Design Intern, your role is,

  • Design print and digital materials
  • Retouch and manipulate images
  • Use graphic design software to create designs for a wide variety of media
  • Supporting the design team to create and deliver solutions ready to be brought to the market
  • Study design briefs/ project goals and determine requirements/priority
  • Design workflows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for our digital platforms/social media
  • Work collaboratively with design and other cross-functional teams like research, product and community to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to a deadline

About you

The skills & experience that Hike is looking for;

  • Knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, color, and other design principles
  • Excellent communicator and ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to details.
  • Strong creative, analytical skills and curiosity to learn
  • Good to have: basic understanding of animation
  • Graphic Design major preferred
