Your role

The Trainee supports the daily office and administrative/secretarial work of the said departments.

What will you be doing

As the Trainee, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Handle incoming calls and general inquiries. 
  • Maintain a filing system and tracing of documents.  
  • Coordination of Direct Mail activities i.e., label printing, envelope stuffing, posting, distribution. 
  • Basic knowledge of the hotel's services and facilities.  
  • Collate daily news clippings on hotel's happenings and happenings in the city and other hotels. 
  • Assist in translations of news articles, letters and press releases into vice versa.  
  • Ensure jobs are properly scheduled and time management is exercised for the art section to meet set deadlines for design and artwork. 
  • Design and production of signage, banquet posters, banners, backdrops, décor and follow up with artists for job orders. 
  • Order and maintain office supplies. 
  • Coordination and implementation of various hotel projects in liaison with other hotel departments and/or outside organizations/government bureaus.  
  • Assist the department in completing OTA responses. 
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager. 
  • The Management reserves the right to change/extend this job description if necessary, at any point of time during her / his employment.
