A point of contact to the internal customers both overseas and domestic from the MEB Poles factory for the demand forecasting and Order Management Responsible to run end to end S&OP process and do order management
Your responsibilities
- S&OP – Sales and Operations Planning Process
- Internal Customer Engagement both exports and domestic for demand forecasting, Product Portfolio review, and other order-related requests.
- Organize and attend Weekly, Bi-Weekly, and Monthly forecast and demand review meetings with Customers and Factory team
- Release of the Demand Plan to all the functions w.r.t customer forecast and demand
- Ensure all steps of the S&OP process happen on time, helping all contributors to comply with the requirements and active participation. Run the S&OP meetings, ensuring that all information is presented, all stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made, and execution plans articulated. Ensure the execution of the decisions made during the meetings. Escalate when required.
- Ensure information is collected timely and accurately. Arrange a good flow of information from product review to demand review to operations review. In systems, businesses ensure coordination of S&OP and Integrated order Management processes. Check the consistency of all pieces of information used during the S&OP process and facilitate the reconciliation process.
- Monitor metrics related to the engagement and the outcome of the S&OP. Work with all contributors on improving the process, and make sure it is serving the priorities of the business.
- Coordinate and prepare for the monthly S&OP Management reviews and track action plans.
- Order Management
- Coordinate with the internal customers (IN and Overseas) for the upcoming purchase orders in line with Forecast, review the correctness in line with the agreements, and ensure timely order booking in SAP.
- Coordinating with the internal planning team and releasing timely order confirmation to customers.
- Prepare full cost model in line with the price agreements for uploading in SAP and also calculate first-time prices for the new or nonstandard variants.
- Follow up for amendment of purchase orders in case the Purchase order is falling to meet any of the agreed terms and pricing.
- Do an internal review of customer order backlogs and provide periodic updates to the customers.
- Prepare monthly dispatch plan and coordinate with logistics team for the timely vessel bookings and containers available for the export shipments
- Coordinate on a day-to-day basis with production, warehouse, and logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of the finished goods.
- Ensure timely dispatch with adequate documentation in coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams.
- Timely submission of the dispatch documents to customer
- Responsible to drive and meet operations KPIs like COTD, Past due backlog, and Leadtime, in case of any deviation drive improvement actions and problem-solving with the cross-functional team
- Responsible and accountable for financial KPIs like Order booking, Revenues, and Collection on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis.
Your background
- Bachelor of Engineering or MBA in Operations
- Hands-on experience of SD in SAP (experience in MM as well would be an added advantage)
- Basic understanding of Operations planning is essential
- Experience in leading the S&OP process in the Global network factory would be preferred.
