Your role

Purpose:

To underwrite cases with the highest quality, ensuring adherence to all the underwriting, compliance & statutory guidelines and ensuring optimum productivity within the agreed TAT.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure achievement of daily productivity targets & maintaining the highest quality.
• Ensuring adherence to agreed TAT for processing cases.
• Resolving sales queries within TAT.
• Working towards the functional KPIs like improvement in Issuance Percentage, Reduction in the additional requirement, minimizing revenue leakages & improvement in overall quality of business.
• Balance the expectations of sales channels along with functional and organizational needs of risk management and mitigation without impacting the business goals.
• To support function to manage the dynamism arising given seasonal business peaks and also unpredictable regulatory & sales behaviors.
• To strike a good balance of risk and customer convenience.
• Ensure vigilance to prevent various kinds of frauds that are prevalent in the marketplace.
• Keeping yourself updated with the technical knowledge required for the Underwriting role.
