Your role

IIDE is seeking a Video Editor to assemble and edit footage for social media marketing platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. This role involves working on various types of social media ads and collaborating with the marketing team to produce campaign videos from inception. The Video Editor will assist the production team in shooting content and creating multiple video cuts tailored for different platforms.

Responsibilities and duties

• Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
• Should know how to edit graphics in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
• Trim footage, Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Collaborate with other departments (marketing, video team, etc.) to create engaging social media video content (Stories, posts, reels, etc).
• Takedown any other activities from your reporting manager as and when required.
• Flexibility and willingness to go beyond the call of duty (a go-getter).

About you

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Video Editing Software like Adobe Premiere Pro & Davinci Resolve
• Basics of Adobe Design & Animation tools - Illustrator & Photoshop
• Basic knowledge of shooting is a plus (Phone or Camera)
• Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing
• Good communication skills
• 0-1 year experience required
